Let's hike mount Bintumani together!

My name is Alie Momodu Samura i am a local hiking guide living in Kabala. I take people to the top of Sierra Leone!

The trip takes in total three days. During this trip we will take a motor bike to the start of the hike.

Day 1: Take the motorbike to Senekoro. From here we hike to camp 1, this takes about 3 hours.
Day 2: Hike to camp 2 (takes about 3 hours), then we hike the top of Mount Bintumani (takes about 3 hours), after this we return to camp 2 (takes about 2 hours).
Day 3: Hike back to Senekoro (Takes about 4 hours), from here we take the motorbike back to Kabala.

During this trip we will camp. So you need to provide your own camping gear. I will build a campfire to cook. You need to take:

For this trip there will be the following costs. Not all costs are always to same.

Guide costs: 500 Le / person / day (For larger groups this is negotiable). This includes a motorbike for one person.
Transportation: every extra person needs a motorbike and driver. This costs 1500Le per bike. The driver will wait in Senekoro.
Community fees: During the motorbike drive we pass several communities. These charge the following fees: Faraway (50 Le / person), Karifaya (200 Le / person), Senekero (200 Le / person)
Senekero extra charge: In the last village there will be an extra charge for hiking in their area. This price is negotiable and will cost about 400 Le / person.
